TRANSLATING LIFE THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHS THAT SPEAK MORE THAN WORDS EVER COULD.
Navajo multimedia documentarian from the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. Currently living in Los Angeles, California.
My first Diné (Navajo) clan is Táchii'nii (Red Running Into the Water People clan) which I use to identify my photography work.
My multimedia work, which I call "Indigenous Realism" captures the lives and complexities of contemporary American Indians. I thrive that my work pushes viewers to critically analyze the psychological and historical structures underlying the representation of Native Americans in mass media .
As a Native photographer, I love capturing memorable images of people. Through my lens I am able to capture innovative beautiful and stunning moments my clients may not see. I love becoming creative in my vision of storytelling while still offering the objective, theme my clients request.
